The Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre is located in the heart of California, Irvine. The venue has an impressive seating capacity of just over 16,000 with great seating options and views. Opened in 1981 it has become the number 1 place in the area for festivals, due to its large lawn area. The lawn area is great for those who want a more chilled out, relaxed atmosphere whilst they watch their favorite artists.
The Pacific Symphony Orchestra has used the Amphitheatre as their summer home since 1997. The venue has also made a name for itself with party and festival goers as the host of some of the biggest and best festivals around: Uproar Festival, Area2 Festival, Gigantour, Projekt Revolution, Lollapalooza and Lilith Fair among others.
As well the outdoor events, the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre has hosted some of the biggest musical artists on the planet, including Michael Jackson who performed three times and Ozzy Osbourne who recorded his 1982 tour outing at the amphitheatre.
